I agree with Hutch - I think it's a personal decision...

...similar to how I feel that it should be a personal choice for business owners and their employees about whether to be open for business or not.

I've been wearing a mask in public for about a month now. I found a pack of N95 masks in my shed about a week before the CDC changed its guidance on mask wearing, so I decided I may as well use them. I also feel that it's a small sacrifice for me to make in the name of allowing the economy to re-open and keep people employed. I've been a big proponent of fewer government restrictions and allowing people to make personal decisions about what they are comfortable with. However, I absolutely acknowledge the contagiousness of this virus and the danger that it poses. So in light of that, I feel obligated to do my part to make other people feel comfortable around me. I think it's plausible that mask usage could significantly reduce the spread of the virus and prevent another spike in infections as businesses begin to resume normal operations. I'm all for people getting back to work, so if me wearing a mask can help precipitate that, I'm happy to do it.
